It was established in 1945 as Muhammad & Mahindra and later renamed as Mahindra and Mahindra. It is one of the largest vehicle manufacturers by production in India and the largest manufacturer of tractors in the world. It is a part of the Mahindra Group, an Indian conglomerate. It was ranked 17th on a list of top companies in India by Fortune India 500 in 2018. Its major competitors in the Indian market include Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors.

They hold one team accountable for the shortcomings of another team over which the first team has no oversight nor influence. There is zero accountability however at the top where the CEO and various department heads blunder about cluelessly being very self-important and telling everyone else to work harder without accomplishing anything themselves."
Engineer says"The usual benefits of working for a startup evaporated after the first year. Virtually every position in the company has changed and some have changed 3+ times. Super high turnover, unrealistic expectations, poor product planning. Politics politics politics. There is really no intention of turning this into a real company. The product, the promises, and the perks have all fallen through. If i could rate this place a -1, it would not be enough."

Manager was on vacation. For 2 weeks, came back got sick for another 2 weeks and then left for another week vacation. Meanwhile the team struggle to get answers and approvals. Not only that the Main dude got fired and replaced and lots of people got let go. got their"
